About this deal

That's is "maybe" 10% percent of a movie and as such make no difference to the level of detail seen in the remaining 90%. Black levels and shadows are well managed, maybe not as pristine as what 2160p HDR10 can offer, but it certainly holds its own. One, in particular, involves Lo’ak bonding with a similarly outcast whale-like creature (shades of Free Willy), and an underwater swim that’s shot from an angle that makes it look like he is flying just above the air, reaching out to “touch” it, the way you would reach down to touch the water if you were on the surface.

Despite Cameron's assessment that Avatar 2 was "the worst business case in movie history," the film made a tidy profit and currently stands as the third-highest-grossing film of all time. Extras: Bonus features are housed on a second Blu-ray, headlined by a series of featurettes compiled under the title Inside Pandora's Box, with a 'play all' function. The film looks amazing in2-D 4K, but the 3-D is an impeccable delivering a genuinely exciting immersive viewing experience that pulls you into James Cameron’s sci-fi universe. I gotta say between the 4K release and now the 3-D Blu-ray release of Avatar: The Way of Water, the 2-D 1080p people are kinda getting the proverbial shaft.

Boasting state-of-the-art special effects, the film is the first in a series of four planned sequels, though whether any of them will achieve the same level of record-breaking box office success as the original remains to be seen. Twentieth Century Home Entertainment and Disney have revealed details regarding the release date and special features for the 4K Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and Blu-ray releases of James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).

But as the original Avatar, in 2009, helped to make 3D popular – at the time – it appears as if Avatar 2 is paving the way for a rediscovery of 3D at home. astounding, and there's virtually no frame in this enterprise which isn't stuffed with often incredible visual information. It’s a long film so having a brief intermission to swap discs half way is likely a welcome respite for some viewers bladders. En fin una película muy recomendable, otra obra maestra más de James Cameron y un producto que debe de ser editado en Blu-ray 3D YA en nuestro país en Castellano.

Audio: First a quick note: there are different soundtracks depending on the release, with the regular Blu-ray offering DTS-HD MA 5. For example, the airborne spear-chucking moments are extremely satisfying and will have you speculating on why the sky people didn’t install better shatter-proof windscreens. In 24fps mode, it has the usual judder, and the logos/text on the side of the train is hard to read as it's going by.

The Na'vi and the oceans of Pandora all look photorealistic, and are seamlessly integrated with real people and physical sets. The Haka: The Spirit of New Zealand – On the final day of production, the New Zealand stuntmen honored James Cameron with a traditional Haka dance.
